Arts and Crafts Museum
Founded on 1877, the Arts and Crafts Museum is one of
the main art galleries in Europe, thanks to its impressive
collections and varied exhibitions. The museum exposes
European art from the Antiquity to the present, as also
an important Asian art and modern works of design, graphic
and photographs collections.
There’s no other place where the visitors can discover
so clearly the relations and influences crossed between
the different times and cultures, like the debt of the
European Renaissance with the classic cultures of Greece
and Rome, or the stylistic proximity between the Art Nouveau
and the Japanese art.
