Rhineland-Palatinate
Created in 1946 between Frankfurt, French Belgium and
Luxembourg borders, this German region is, in fact, an
agglomerate of pieces of other provinces and regions.
Rhineland-Palatinate is bathed by the Rhine and Mosel
rivers. It has interesting cities as Maguncia, Kaiserslautern,
Tréveris or Koblenz. Here is one of the most beautiful
landscapes of the country: the Rhine valley, settled between
the cities of Bingen and Bonn, with its castles and vineyards.
This region has the highest exporting index of all Germany,
thanks to the demand of its products, specially its famous
wines -two thirds of the total of the German wine are
elaborated here-, the ceramics, leather and glass.
