Airports
Germany has a dozen international airports, being Frankfurt
the most important one. In fact, it’s the eighth
of the world by total number of passengers and the second
by number of international passengers and also of the
more important European centres of flight connections
and aerial transport of merchandise. Other cities with
international airports are: Hamburg, Colony, Düsseldorf,
Munich, Berlin, Hannover, Bremen, Nuremberg, Stuttgart,

The German flag company is Lufthansa.
It covers international destinies and the domestic flights
between the different cities of the country. The great
majority of international companies has flights to the
most important centres of Germany. Car
Germany has an extensive network of freeways and state
highways. There is a speed limit in the freeways, but
it’s recommended to circulate between 100 and 130
km/h. In the highways the limit is 80 -100 km/h and in
the urban circuits of 50 km/h. Is obligatory the use of
the lap belt and to have the driving licence in use. The

Train
The railway network is directed by the Deutsche
Bahn DB. The most luxurious service is InterCityExpress,
while the fastest are InterCity and EuroCity. InterRail
and EuroRail international cards are accepted. It also

Many cities have individual bicycle paths in his main
arteries. Rent a bicycle in the railroad stations is the

transport Subway: Several
German cities have subway networks, denominated U-Bahn,
while the neighbourhoods trains are known like S-Bahn.
In Berlin, it covers the downtown and there are cards
and tickets for several trips at a cheaper price. Others
cities with subways are Bonn - in fact, a street cars
service that becomes subway in the downtown -, Frankfurt,

Central stations usually are near train stations. All
the cities had common tickets for the different transportation
and discount cards.
